Community members are invited to join the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) along with conductor Jen Winley for a magical night of entertainment at the City of Rockingham’s Symphony on the Green event.

Symphony on the Green will be held on Saturday 18 February 2023 from 4.30pm – 9pm at the Village Green in Rockingham. It offers visitors the chance to enjoy an evening filled with classical and film favourites plus more musical surprises which will be performed by WASO and a number of superstar soloists.

The event is part of the City’s free and family-friendly Summer Series, and visitors to these events are encouraged not to smoke, vape or drink alcohol.

Pre-show stage performances will begin from 4.30pm, with the full orchestra on stage from 7pm. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the event.

Mayor Deb Hamblin said the City was delighted to be partnering with WASO to deliver this ever-popular community event.

“Symphony on the Green is one of the City’s most popular Summer Series favourites. Concertgoers are in for an amazing event and can expect to enjoy an evening filled with stunning orchestral music,” Mayor Hamblin said.

The beauty of Symphony on the Green is that there is something to suit everyone’s taste in music. The City encourages visitors to Rediscover Rockingham and head down to the Village Green to enjoy what will be another unforgettable Summer Series event.
