Cambridge Library on Wheels

If you live in the Town of Cambridge and are finding it difficult to get to the library, Cambridge Library can come to you with its Home Delivery Service.

Available to library members who are temporarily or permanently housebound, the free service offers fortnightly delivery of items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines and jigsaw puzzles.

For close to 30 years, the service has catered for library members recuperating after hospital stays or recovering from an injury, as well as older members of the community.

While dozens of local residents currently enjoy the handy service, friendly library staff members are always at the ready to welcome more patrons.

When it comes to the service's most popular genres, crime and romance regularly feature at the top of the list.

Delivery and collection of loan items occurs every second Thursday between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
