Council is once again producing a ‘10 Days in the Towers’ Programme Booklet.
The ‘10 Days in the Towers’ Festival is a perfect time for visitors to consider an extended stay in the Region to take advantage of the variety of activities that are on offer.
Councillor Julie Mathews said the Programme Booklet is a great way to promote the Region as a destination in the lead up to the annual Country Music Festival.
“This is a great promotional tool that is being offered to local event organisers at no cost.
“We are encouraging organisations that are planning events from Friday, 21 April through to Sunday, 30 April 2023 to submit their events online to be included in the Booklet,” said Councillor Mathews.
The type of events usually held during this time include local markets, exhibitions, live music, and workshops, as well as the Country Music Festival and Street Parade.
Once printed, the free Programme Booklet will be distributed to local businesses and neighbouring visitor information centres.
The Booklet will contain a calendar of events planned over the 10 day period, as well as details on the events, including basic information such as location, costs, and contact information.
“Being included in the free booklet is a great opportunity for local groups and organisations to get additional exposure for their events.
“If anyone is hosting an event during this time, this is an opportunity that should not be missed,” continued Cr Mathews.
Submissions for the 10 Days in the Towers Programme close at 4pm on Monday, 13 March 2023 and can be made online at charterstowers.qld.gov.au/ten-days-in-the-towers.
