Community members showed strong satisfaction with the City’s rubbish collection and recycling services, parks, gardens, picnic areas, and libraries – with all these categories rated highly by respondents.
The City’s Net Promoter Score (NPS), which measures the likelihood that someone would recommend living in the City of Rockingham, trended upward with a strong score of +25.
Overall, the City scored 3.7 out of five for the second year running.
Key focus areas for the future that were identified through the survey included youth programs and facilities, public toilets and community safety programs.
City of Rockingham Mayor Deb Hamblin said the survey provided valuable insights into what is working well and where improvements can be made.
“We are very grateful to everyone who took the time to participate in the survey and share their feedback with us,” Mayor Hamblin said.
The survey is one of a number of tools we use to measure and improve performance and, as always, we welcome input from our community in this process.“The data received through the survey plays a key role in helping the City gauge how the community feels about the work we do, and how we can continue to make improvements going forward.”
The annual Customer Satisfaction Survey is undertaken independently and sent to a random selection of approximately 4,000 households in the City. Half of the surveys are issued via email, while the other half are sent via mail. Having received 690 responses, the survey is statistically valid.
