Workshop - Starting up and Governing a Not-for-Profit Organisation 

The workshop aims to review in summary the definition of a Not-for-Profit, the common legal structures of NFP’s and the laws and regulations specific to each structure that define the overall governance framework of the organisation. Please note the workshop session has alternate dates for your convenience and participants only need to attend one of these sessions. 

In this workshop learn about:   * Profit vs Not for Profit  * Not for Profit structures  * Sources of governance obligations  * The role of the board  * The legal duties of directors  * We touch on the importance of assessing risk and strategic planning.
