Bibi trained in Media Culture and Communication at Macquarie University and postgraduate studies in psychology at the University of New South Wales. She is a passionate advocate of women’s rights and equality and CALD representation in the performing arts space. As a performer with the PYT Fairfield Ensemble, she made a big splash in Swimming Pool, directed by Tessa Leong. Bibi also co-developed and performed in Dorr’e Dari: A Poetic Crash Course in the Language of Love at Sydney Festival and PYT Fairfield in 2021. Recently, Bibi worked as a Programming Coordinator with the Sydney Opera House. She is also a beadwork artist, specialising in Afghan bead work.
