Public notice: Temporary closure – Lochlees landfill

Please be advised that Lochlees landfill facility will be closed on Sunday 2 April 2023.

The closure is required is to upgrade the loop system at the weighbridge so that it can operate with the newly installed boom gate. This will increase the efficiency of the facility.

If you have green waste to dispose of, the popup green waste collection point will be open at the corner of Rifle Range Road and Campbell Ford Drive from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Normal operation of Lochlees landfill will resume on Monday 3 April 2023 at 8.00 am.
