Flood restoration crews are currently grading Wiangaree Back Road and Roseberry Creek, Creegans, Babyl Creek, and Edenville roads.
Once work on these roads is finished, the crews will move to Applegum, Wyndham, Eden Creek, Old Lawrence, Apple Tree Flat, Taylors, Koala Grove, Plantation, Leadbeatters, Williams, Barnes, Lilli Pilli, MacQueens, Carruthers and Pines roads.
Sealed road rehabilitation works is being undertaken on Peacock Creek, Kyogle, Sextonville, and Findon Creek roads. The road construction crew continues to work on the remediation of the Clarence Way between Woodenbong and Urbenville.
Work on landslip repairs on Creegans, Peacock Creek and Kyogle Roads has been completed, with crews continuing to work on the Clarence Way landslip and another landslip on Kyogle Road.
Council expects to start work soon on the three landslips on Lions Road, as well as landslips on Edward Lane and Gabal Road. Planning is also well advanced for the remediation of landslips on Hayes and Horseshoe Creek roads.
Bridge crews are currently undertaking piling and scour protection works on a new bridge on Collins Valley Way, and completing the abutments on Old Lawrence Road Bridge and Gears Bridge on Duck Creek Road. The old Mulcahys Bridge on Boomi Creek Road has been demolished and a side track constructed.
The new Horseshoe Creek Road Bridge has been completed, however the concrete deck has to cure before it can be opened to traffic.
Contractors have demolished the Tims Lane Bridge and the road is now closed until the new bridge is built.
