Northern Beaches Library Service is proud to be offering the community a Toy Library service in partnership with not-for-profit organisation EarlyEd Cubby House Toy Library service.
We all know toys support children’s learning and development so partnering with this not-for-profit organisation will give all kids the best possible start in life.
In addition, with the rising cost of living, this is a great solution for families to borrow a range of high-quality toys to suit a range of ages and needs while reducing our waste footprint with toys being diverted from landfill.
The Toy Library will be a ‘click and collect’ service operating from Manly and Mona Vale Library on Thursdays, 10.30 - 11am from 6 April 2023 during school terms.
Parents or carers will be able to borrow up to six toys at a time for a month and toys are categorised according to the skills they will develop, making selection of the right toy simple.
The initiative was endorsed by Council following a 12-month trial partnership and overwhelming support by the community.
