TasRail - oversized truck movements

Please be aware of oversized truck movements from Western Junction near Launceston, and Somerset on the North West Coast, to the Port of Burnie over the coming month as TasRail’s contractors prepare for the next phase of commissioning of the new Shiploader.

These deliveries will include fabricated modules for wharf gallery units and Shiploader body components. They will be transported along approved routes and escorted by transport inspectors.

There will not be any road closures, but there may be some small traffic interruptions. Please slow down if you see a Transport Inspector or pilot vehicle and obey all instructions given.
