Grading crews completing flood damage repairs have been working on Eden Creek, Roseberry Creek, Williams, Yongurra, and Pines roads. Once work on these roads has been completed, the crews will move to O’Donnel Creek, Old Lawrence, Koala Grove, Lynches Creek, Barnes, Lilli Pilli, Runnymede, Back Creek, Boundary Creek, Gooleys, and Lamberton roads.
Drainage repair crews are currently working on Afterlea, Lillian Rock, Paddys Flat, Culmaran, Coxs, Imesons, Masons, Kyogle and Boundary Creek roads as well as Clarence Way. They will then move on to Tunglebung Creek and Riches roads.
Once crews have finished clearing drains, they will then start work repairing flood-damaged culverts.
Contractors are currently working to repair landslips on Clarence Way, Lillian Rock Road, and Kyogle Road. Work should start in May to repair three of the landslips on Lions Road, while final designs have been completed for the remediation of the Geneva Bridge landslip. Council is currently waiting on final approval for the designs from Transport for NSW.
Work is in progress on new bridges on Duck Creek Road, Tims Lane, Baileys Bridge Road and MacQueens Road Bridge. Work also is continuing on Mulcahys Bridge on Boomi Creek Road, and the new bridges on Collins Valley Road and Montgomerys Road.
Pothole patching crews are working on Omagh and Afterlee roads and Clarence Way.
Remediation of Clarence Way between Urbenville and Woodenbong is continuing and is expected to be completed in May. Other constructions crews are undertaking sealed road flood damage repairs on Findon Creek, Bingeebeebra and Kyogle roads.
