Free training is being offered for people to upskill, retrain or “unretire” and help support Corangamite Shire’s hospitality industry.
Organisers hope the free Responsible Service of Alcohol courses will give local hospitality businesses a much-needed pool of recruits.
Corangamite Shire is facilitating the two courses to be run at the Killara Centre, Camperdown with a day and night option on Thursday 24 May.
Participants who complete the four-hour course successfully will receive a Victorian RSA certificate accredited by Liquor Control Victoria and National Statement of Attainment SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol.
It will be a welcome opportunity for Corangamite Shire residents to obtain a new skill, whether they are looking at upskilling their existing set of credentials, wanting to earn some extra money, coming out of retirement to help and keep themselves busy, or just to be a little more social, this is a great chance obtain a certificate in our own backyard.
