Springsure Showgrounds shines so bright

Electrical works have been completed at the Springsure Showgrounds, with glowing results.
‘There’s no better time to have these works completed,’ General Manager Communities, John McDougall said.
‘With the Springsure Show just around the corner, we expect these upgrades to make a huge difference to the event, both for lighting and safety.’
The camping area show boxes were replaced with modernised upgrades that are supported by new underground cabling and switchboards. Solar area lighting has been installed throughout the area. Additional water outlets have also been added.
The sporting field lighting lamps were upgraded to improve lighting levels.
‘The lighting is outstanding now. And no, they are not crop circles in the image below, the lights show the range of our sprinkler system, keeping the grass nice and green,’ Mr McDougall added.
These works have improved the safety and reliability across the whole facility.
