Public notice: Works to Dame Street water cooling tower

Please be advised that council will be conducting testing of the cooling system at the Dame Street Reservoir in Springsure. This testing is required to inform council on performance requirements for future upgrades.

The system will be operational next Tuesday 16 May 2023 between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm.

The work will be carried out by council contractors with operational staff present throughout this period.

The cooling system will not be operational long-term at the Dame Street reservoir and any noise will only be experienced by residents during this short testing phase.
