LithGlow is just around the corner. The visually stunning Seven Valleys calendar favourite will feature all of the light-candy it is known for, as well as an overture of fireworks, plus live music from ‘Ska-ramouche’ and ‘Lounge Pantha’, as well as great food and shopping. New to LithGlow 2023 will be a projection from Lithgow Transformation Hub’s Media Lab and some competitions to win fabulous prizes for having a terrific time!
To win prizes from Club Lithgow, Harvey Norman Lithgow, Lithgow Workies Club, The Lolly Bug and Lithgow PCYC, you’ll want to dress to impress and be seen, by being part of the first ever Glow Worm Parade. Prizes for children and adults alike will be handed out to those who can show:
the identity of Lithgow and the Seven Valleys are resourceful (having reused or recycled), and the most illuminated, glowing or reflective designs.If costumes aren’t your thing, enter The Seven Valleys’ photo competition. Capture the fun with a photo of yourself, your family or friends enjoying LithGlow, post it with the hashtag ‘#LithGlow23’ and tag @VisitSevenValleys. Enter the photos in the competition for a chance to win $300 for first prize, $150 for second prize and $50 for third. One thing you can win, no matter how good a photographer you are or how well you’re dressed, is an amazing night that is free to attend with no tickets required. Rug-up and jump on the free shuttle buses from Main Street, Lithgow. LithGlow 2023 springs to life at 5.00pm with the Energy Australia Fireworks display at 8.30pm. Food Trucks open from 5pm. The free Shuttle buses will run from 5pm until 10pm.
