National Families Week is celebrated every year between 15 and 21 May, to coincide with the United Nations International Day of Families.
National Families Week is a time to celebrate and reflect on the strengths and significance of families, make contact with extended family and friends, and share in the enjoyment of family activities within the wider community. It is a time to celebrate the meaning of family and to make the most of family life – no matter what form your family takes.
The theme for 2023 is ‘living real, dreaming BIG’.
National Families Week 2023 celebrates families in all their diversity and promotes the capacities and resilience of families in creating strong, safe and connected communities.
Check out these top ten tips of things for you and your family to try – this week and beyond!
