Mayor encourages community to attend hospital redevelopment information sessions
AlburyCity News 25 May 2023

We know that our region is in desperate need of improved health infrastructure, so I'm pleased to see that planning is now underway, allowing for the timely delivery of improved health services for the Albury Wodonga community, as well as our wider region of over 250,000 people.

These sessions are an opportunity to hear directly from the project team about how the master planning process will run, ask questions about the project, and find out how you can get involved.

A Project Community Advisory GroupĀ for the project will also be established to ensure there is a local voice in the process, with expressions of interest now open.

If you work in the healthcare industry, are a patient or carer, or are passionate about health, this is an avenue to have your say on behalf of our community and ensure we have the best possible facilities to service our growing region.

Community consultation is a vital part of the master planning process to ensure the new hospital delivers the best possible health services for our region. I'd encourage everyone to head along to the initial drop-in sessions being held by the NSW Government next week.

The sessions will be held at:

Wodonga Plaza Wednesday 31 May 10am - 12pmLavington Square Wednesday 31 May 2pm - 4pmWhite Box Rise Shopping Centre Thursday 1 June 10am -12pmWestend Plaza Thursday 1 June 2pm - 4pmMyer Centrepoint Thursday 1 June 5pm - 7pm
