Project to Install a New Sewer Pipeline – Bicentennial Lakes, Mareeba
Mareeba Shire Council 26 May 2023

Mareeba Shire Council wishes to advise residents of planned excavation works to install a sewer pipeline in their area from late May 2023. The works will affect traffic movements in the below streets. Residents are advised that Traffic Control will be in place to ensure property and pedestrian access maintained.

Rankin Street Strattmann Street Hort Street Warren Street Ferguson Street Jacobsen Street Railway Avenue Brynes Street

The works are part of planned Council Infrastructure upgrades to supply and install a new trunk sewer pipeline to service Mareeba. The entire project is expected to take 5 months to complete. The new sewer pipeline will have the capacity to meet the needs of Mareeba now and into the future and will meet all safety and environmental standards.
