The Rotary Inspirational Women’s Awards (RIWA) recognise service to the community across all sectors. They are directed at the non-Rotary community. It is about commitment, dedication, perseverance and proactivity in improving the lives of others. The Awards are open to women across NSW. There are separate awards for city and rural nominations.
The Rotary Inspirational Women’s Awards (RIWA) have been established to recognise women and young women who best exemplify Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self (i.e. the community service the individual performs above and beyond their normal role).
The Awards are an initiative of the Rotary Districts and Clubs of NSW and are directed at the non-Rotary community.
Who is eligble for the award?The Inspirational Women’s Awards consist of the Inspirational Woman of the Year (30+) and the Young Inspirational Woman of the Year (18-30) in each of the categories.
