A report on the proposed redevelopment of the former Quinns Rocks Caravan Park site will be presented at a City of Wanneroo Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 20 June.

The report includes the outcomes of the recent community engagement, facilitated by Viv Warren Consulting and Thinkfield.

Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken thanked everyone who has participated in the community engagement process to date.

“I want to thank everyone who took the time to consider the proposal, attend a meeting, information session or provide valuable feedback via the survey,” she said.

“We know our community is passionate about this site and we are pleased that so many people took the opportunity to help us shape its future.

“We’ve decided to hold a Special Council Meeting for this item to ensure we have plenty of time for members of the community to address Council and have their views heard.

“I look forward to discussing the outcomes of the engagement at the Special Council meeting to determine a way forward for this site.”

The Special Council Meeting will be held at the Wanneroo Civic Centre from 5.30pm on Tuesday 20 June. The meeting agenda will be available on the City’s website from Friday, 16 June 2023.

The meeting will be open to members of the public and an opportunity will be provided for questions and statements relating to the purpose of the meeting.

Members of the public are encouraged to register attendance and submit any public questions or statements prior to the meeting using the online forms on the Council Meetings webpage.
