Public notice: Planned temporary water shutdown – Dingo

UPDATE: Thursday 8 June 2.00 pm

Please be advised that water will be temporarily shut down in Dingo on Thursday 8 June 2023 from 9.00 am to approximately 5.00 pm.

Please be advised that water will be temporarily shut down in Dingo on Thursday 8 June 2023 from 9.00 am to approximately 3.00 pm.

This shutdown is due to commissioning and transitioning from the old to the new systems at the Dingo water treatment plant.

Council advises residents to fill buckets of water to flush toilets during this time.

Bottled water will be provided to residents free of charge at the following locations:

Dingo Post Office Dingo State School

When water is restored, nearby properties may experience slight discolouration of the water; if you do, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period until it runs clear. If this persists, please contact Central Highlands Regional Council on 1300 242 686.
