The Koinjmal People as traditional custodians of the St Lawrence Wetlands are undertaking an environmental regeneration program to look after and heal the wetlands over the coming years.
Visitors to the festival are invited to join us on this journey, by planting a tree in our 4 hectare Wetland Restoration Project.
Learn about the plants of the wetlands by choosing and planting a seedling propagated from the wetlands themselves.
This wonderful exercise will be done with our environmental partners at the event and allows our guests to be part of our work to ensure our environmental assets are healthy and sustained for generations to come.
This activity is free, open to all, and is supported by collaborating organizations Koinmerburra Aboriginal Corporation, Kuril & Currawong & University of Qld, Conservation Volunteers Association and Sarina Landcare.
Cost - This activity is free of charge and included as part of your general Event entry ticket, book your ticket here >> https://isaactickets.com.au/event/17699
