Opportunities Aplenty at 2023 Rockingham Jobs Fair

Local job seekers are invited to the 2023 Rockingham Jobs Fair, which will be presented by the City of Rockingham on Wednesday 21 June 2023 from 10am – 4.30pm at the Gary Holland Community Centre.
This free event is hosted by the Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce and will showcase the variety of job opportunities that are available to people of all ages and skill sets.
The Jobs Fair will have 50 stalls from several industries including Defence; Transport; Human Resources; Education and Training. It will feature workshops and live demonstrations, a live jobs board, and representation from training organisations and employers looking to recruit employees and apprentices.
Businesses are also invited to host a stall at the event, free-of-charge, to share information with job seekers and the wider community.
Mayor Deb Hamblin said the Rockingham Jobs Fair was a strategic objective for the City to deliver through its Economic Development Strategy 2020 – 2025.
“Whether you are finishing your studies, looking to fast-track a career change, or re-enter the workforce, the 2023 Rockingham Jobs Fair will highlight the range of employment and training opportunities that are on offer,” Mayor Hamblin said.
The Rockingham Jobs Fair supports our Strategic Community Plan aspiration of actively pursuing tourism and economic development.“With so many stallholders from a diverse range of industries on offer, we hope to see community members of all ages exploring the 2023 Rockingham Jobs Fair.”
