The City of Parramatta will come alive with the sounds of some of Western Sydney’s most talented musicians for Make Music Day on June 21.

The internationally recognised day is a chance for everyone to enjoy both upcoming and established local artists, as they provide an eclectic mix of musical offerings at Epping, Wentworth Point and Parramatta.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Sameer Pandey said local artists play an important role in our unique and diverse City.

“I am so proud City of Parramatta is part of such a lively international day,” Cr Pandey said.

“Whether you’re trying to get to work and home at Epping Station or enjoying lunch at Wentworth Point and Parramatta Square, you will also get a taste of our musical talent.

“It’s another example of how City of Parramatta supports our diverse arts and music sectors and fits well with other initiatives like our recent Purple Flag accreditation, recognising standards of excellence in our night-time economy.”

Cr Pandey said he encouraged everyone to enjoy rock, jazz and K-pop from dawn to dusk throughout the LGA.

“Today is about recognising the talents of those trying to make their mark or who are already established in the music industry, so I encourage everyone to support them,” Cr Pandey said.
