A new online resource called ‘Queensland’s Urban Water Explorer’ has been released to allow users to visualise, monitor and compare data relating to water and sewerage service delivery state-wide.
‘This state government-led initiative provides our region with valuable information,’ said General Manager Infrastructure & Utilities Jason Hoolihan.
‘You can see how your water provider compares to other regions, how large the networks are, and much more,’ he said.
The webpage allows residents to:
Make data much more accessible and interactive Compare state-wide data allowing greater understanding and context for the local information Give guidance on comparisons between service providersThe data is accurate until the end of the 2021-2022 financial year.
‘It’s a great place to look if you’re considering buying or investing in the region,’ he concluded.
A handy information sheet on navigating the Urban Water Explorer has also been provided by the Queensland Government.
