Have you run out of ideas or are dreading planning activities for the June/July winter school holidays? Well, look no further, council has you covered.
From movie nights to board games, craft activities, and even skating clinics. There is something for all kiddos across the region to have a crack at!
Kicking off on Saturday 24 June 2023, these activities will take place in areas such as Comet, Blackwater, Bluff, Capella, Tieri, Emerald, Gemfields, Springsure, Rolleston, Dingo, and Duaringa.
General Manager of Communities John McDougall is proud of the impressive program that’s been put together by the youth and libraries teams.
‘There has been a remarkable effort into planning these activities for all over our region with many thanks from the libraries and youth team.
‘There’s something for absolutely everyone and is the perfect way for kids to get out of the house and engage in a safe environment whilst hanging out with their buddies,’ he continued.
