Recipients of the 2023 CHRC Youth Art Awards were announced last night, Friday 23 June 2023, at the award presentation held at the Emerald Art Gallery.
Youth across the region between the ages of 5 and 25 participated and submitted 106 stunning pieces.
‘What a great display of young, local talent,’ said Mayor Kerry Hayes.
‘This is the second year of the youth art awards, and the quality of the entries shows that this event will continue for many years to come.
‘Congratulations to the deserving young artists, and thank you to all who submitted an entry,’ he said.
All entries will be exhibited at the Emerald Art Gallery Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm until 19 July 2023.
