Visit Warali Wali and walk along the Prospect Creek cycleway during NAIDOC Week!
Warali Wali is a collection of newly revitalised Dharug cultural interpretation and First Nations artwork that runs 4.7 km (one way) or 9.4 km (return) along the cycleway between Cumberland City Council and Fairfield City Council.
As you walk or ride you can listen to Dharug Elder Aunty Leanne Tobin’s audio reflections on the importance of Prospect Creek to Dharug people. You can spend time reading the new signage created by Leanne Tobin and Shay Tobin and learn about the Dharug names for plants and animals that inhabit this local waterway.
On the walk you can view unique public artworks by First Nations artists and enjoy the surrounding green space. Pack your lunch, get your walking shoes on or grab your bike for a ride and head out onto Country to learn about Dharug culture!
Visit the Warali Wali page for more information on where to start your journey.
