State Tourism Delegates Visit Coolgardie

During the State Tourism Conference held in Kalgoorlie Boulder in May, delegates from Visitors Centres and tourism businesses around WA had the opportunity to visit Coolgardie on a coach tour.
The delegates were welcomed to Coolgardie by Shire President Malcolm Cullen before they viewed our Goldfields Exhibition Museum, Ben Prior Park, and visited local businesses. They then enjoyed morning tea at Warden Finnerty’s Residence along with Cr. Cullen and Cr. Rathbone. This was followed by a drive tour of Coolgardie attractions including our Historic Railway Station and the Bluff Cultural & Heritage Trail.
It was great to have this opportunity for our Shire of Coolgardie tourism staff to showcase some of the attractions in our beautiful little town to tourism representatives from all over WA, expanding our network of ambassadors to help increase tourism in our unique region.
