Public notice: Commencement of works – Robert and Opal Street Emerald

Please be advised that council are undertaking underground electrical works with Ergon Energy surrounding the Robert Street and Opal Street intersection.

The works will commence at 8.00 am on Friday 21 July 2023 and will continue for a 4-week period and will involve trenching for underground power.

During these times the works will predominantly be occurring on the side of the road without impacting the traffic. There will be brief intervals where trenching is required across both Opal Street and Robert Street and detours will be in place as seen in the attached images.

Council appreciates the cooperation of the community while these works are occurring.
