Notification of Change of Date / Rescheduling of Meeting – Shire of Capel July 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting

In accordance with Regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, notice is given that the Ordinary Council Meeting previously advertised to be held on Wednesday, 26 July 2023 has been rescheduled.

The Shire of Capel July 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting will now be held as per the following:

Date:                WEDNESDAY, 2 AUGUST 2023

Time:               6.00PM

Location:         SHIRE OF CAPEL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, FORREST ROAD, CAPEL

The July 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting agenda will be considered at the reschedule date detailed above and can be viewed online at capel.wa.gov.au or available in hard copy at the Shire’s Administration, Forrest Road, Capel during normal office hours.

REASON – The Shire of Capel became aware that the publicly available website version of the July 2023 Council Agenda did not include report attachments.  The absence of report attachments limited the public and community’s opportunity to be informed of, to understand and to raise matters under consideration at the July 2023 Council meeting.

The Shire has rescheduled the meeting in the public interest to provide for transparent decision making and to ensure that the public and community have a reasonable opportunity to review all information prior to the meeting.
