A Show-Stopping Weekend Across The Moree Plains

Moree Plains Shire Council was proud to have supported two fundamental events across the Shire over the weekend, with Pallamallawa hosting the Inaugural Pallamallawa Vintage Tractor Pull and Mungindi’s annual show, celebrating 125 years.

For farmers and tractor enthusiasts, the idea spawn behind showcasing tractors young and old was to provide a space where people could come together and ‘have a chat’ to help promote and support mental health after drought and COVID-19 while being entertained by the tractor-pulling competition.

The Mungindi annual show was jammed packed full of entertainment with the campdraft, header Vs picker derby, drum throwing competition, live reptile displays, poets’ breakfast the dog high jumping, and that wasn’t all the entertainment on offer!
