Senior Human Resources Advisor

The role:

The Senior Human Resources Advisor provides high-level support to the Manager Human Resources.  This includes the provision of coaching, advice and support to managers in relation to workforce management issues, workforce management practices, policy development, training, professional development, recruitment and employee wellbeing.  The position also provides support and coverage for Workplace Health and Safety functions and tasks when required.

What we are looking for:

You will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant discipline – if you do not have formal qualifications, you will need to have significant experience working in a similar Human Resources field You will have a high level of written and oral communication skills, including policy development and implementation. Please note, your resume and/or cover letter may be considered an example of your written communication skills You will have experience in managing recruitment and selection strategies, programs and processes You will need to be experienced in assessing and identifying learning needs, establishing and implementing both vocational and operational learning strategies and delivering training programs You will have working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety functions within a multi-disciplinary organisation
