Public notice: driveway crossovers require a permit

Please be reminded that all works carried out on a driveway or road must be approved by council prior to commencement.

This applies to residential and business driveways and their crossovers and any connection between the footpath and road (slabs, tracks, culverts and inverts).

Applications lodged for any vehicular access works are assessed by council against the Capricorn Municipal Development Guidelines (CMDG) and councils local law.

Compliant driveway crossovers ensure convenient and safe access to all allotments for pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists.
