A new video series will take foodies on a culinary journey of Parramatta and help cement the City’s reputation as one of Sydney’s top dining destinations.

The video series, hosted by local DJ, writer and food connoisseur Andrew Levins, will dive deep into the City’s suburbs to highlight Parramatta’s eclectic food offerings from across the globe. Over five weeks, Levins will explore the unique dining experiences on offer in Parramatta, meet the people behind some of its most loved eateries and unearth new favourites.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Sameer Pandey said Parramatta was one of the most diverse Local Government Areas in the State with more than 50% of the population born overseas – and that diversity was reflected in its menus.

“We’ve got all the flavours of the world right here in Parramatta,” Cr Pandey said.   “What better way to spend a weekend than to take your tastebuds on tour – from Eat Street in the heart of the City to the rich Indian spices served up in Harris Park, a great pho in Carlingford and the friendly neighbourhood cafes of Winston Hills.”

“When it comes to food, Parramatta really is where it’s at.”

“Our food scene is vast and we want to share local treasures and stories with visiting foodies from all over the world.”

Levins has called Parramatta home for 10 years and said the City has one of the most diverse food cultures in Australia.

”From high-end restaurants to street food and a vibrant café culture, Parramatta has everything you need,” Levins said.
