Thursday, September 7, 2023, 10:30 – 11am On this uplifting walk we'll discover a unique rainforest ecosystem that's been developed to showcase the wonders of a fragile environment.Please note: Ticketing for this event will close 12noon Wednesday 5 September 2023.Over the nearly 20 hectares of the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, there are about 2500 trees primarily from tropical and subtropical climes from around the world.In this special haven within a thriving modern city, a unique rainforest ecosystem has been developed to showcase the wonders of such a fragile environment that is gradually disappearing in our world.This walk will inspire and uplift as you experience a tropical landscape within an urban setting.• This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces.
