Park Closure

Mareeba Shire Council wishes to advise residents of a partial park closure of the playground in Centenary Park, Kuranda and the playground at Amaroo, Mareeba.

The playground at Centenary Park, Kuranda will be partially closed from Monday, 4 September 2023 until Wednesday, 6 September 2023 and the playground at Amaroo from Tuesday, 5 September 2023 to Thursday, 7 September 2023.

The partial closures will allow the contractor to replace defective soft fall materials that occurred during the warranty period.

Clearly marked signs and barriers will indicate the restricted areas and alternative routes and entrances will be designated to guide visitors through the area.
