Collie Community Fundraiser for Telethon
Shire of Collie 2 Sep 2023

Help Collie become one of the first regional towns to come together as a community to raise vital funds to support Telethon 2023.

The Shire of Collie would like to invite the local community and business to get involved, make a difference, and help put Collie on the map by raising funds for Telethon as a community.

The first event to kick off fundraising efforts is the Feast at the Quarry online silent auction. In the lead up to the event, an online action will be livewith a number of prizes and experiences to be up for grabs. The feature prize being a private in-home dining experience for 6-8 people with internationally renowned chef Scott Hallsworth, who will be coming home to Collie to cater for the Feast at the Quarry event. All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Telethon to create better and brighter futures for WA kids.

Now it’s time to get the fundraising efforts in Collie to go beyond the Feast at the Quarry auction! Live from today is a collective Collie Fundraising Page and everyone can participate. Each fundraiser that registers will have their own individual page that they can share to raise money and all funds raised from each individual fundraiser will contribute toward the total tally reflected on the main Collie fundraising page.

Whether it be a small private effort such as a bake sale, or small businesses donating $1 for every meal/coffee sold in September/October – we’d love for local businesses and the community to get involved and see Collie’s community spirit shine. It can be as big, or as small as you make it!

Funds raised through Telethon will support medical research into childhood diseases, provide equipment, critical services and life-changing opportunities for sick, disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Western Australia.
