Illuminating the night

The Light’n Up Moree festival on Friday night saw Balo and Heber Streets decorated with vibrant and colourful light installations from lanterns, roving street entertainers, participating shop fronts and the final pièce de résistance, the animated pop art style projection by illuminart on the Moree Memorial Hall.

The event transformed the CBD into a visual spectacle where the community came together to enjoy and be entertained by the various activities from art, music, games, car show and a silent disco.

While the event provided a space for local artists, and performers to showcase their talents it provided a luminated space to indulge in local cuisine in alfresco dining.

This successful community event was made possible by the hard work of many, with a huge congratulations on making the evening a wonderful success goes to the team at BAMM, for producing this exceptional visual spectacle.

This event is supported and enabled by the NSW Government’s - Reconnecting Regional NSW - Community Events Program. Light’n Up Moree was managed by the team at BAMM with the support of Moree Plains Shire Council, Tourism Moree, and Moree Chamber of Commerce.
