Public notice: Planned temporary water shutdown – Mayfair Estate, Emerald

Please be advised that water will be temporarily shutdown in Mayfair Estate on Tuesday 26 September 2023 from 7.00 am to approximately 3.00 pm.

This shutdown is anticipated to impact Desgrand Street, Mayfair Drive and Thornton Street, however surrounding streets may also be affected.

The shutdown is due to water main works on the corner of Desgrand Street and Mayfair Drive.

Council advises residents to prepare by filling buckets of water to flush toilets during this time.

When water is restored, nearby properties may experience slight discolouration of the water; if you do, it is recommended that you run the water for a short period until it runs clear. If this persists, please contact Central Highlands Regional Council on 1300 242 686.
