Join council on Saturday 21 October 2023 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm behind the Emerald Library to explore the various arts clubs and groups available to the public.
Currently, there is a fine art group, patchwork and craft group, photography club, pottery club, and dance academy that are located in the studios behind the library for club practice and meetings.
‘There is a strong arts culture in Emerald, and we are happy to have these spaces available for people to use and learn from other local artists,’ said General Manager Communities John McDougall.
Each club will have members present at the event and will offer information on what they do and how to become a member.
At the event, there will be light refreshments and information promoting library services and art precinct club offerings.
Light refreshments will be provided.
