There are loads of amazing places to go and things to do in Corangamite Shire.
Council is planning the 2024 wall calendar and is calling on residents to recommend where it should send a photographer.
Mayor Ruth Gstrein said the annual wall calendar was a great way to spotlight a fantastic part of the world.
“We want to hear from people where their favourite part of the Shire or their favourite thing to do,” Cr Gstrein said.
“When we know what places our community love the most, we can get some great photos and bring them right into your home.
“For some people it might be their favourite beach or mountaintop; the lake they go fishing on or a park where they have family picnics.
“Let us know the place that’s special to you and, if it’s a public place and has plenty of support, we might be able to immortalise it in next year’s calendar.
Cr Gstrein said the calendar would feature natural and community-based activities, rather than commercial enterprises.
“Each year 10,000 calendars are printed, featuring images of the Shire and some of the fantastic natural attractions, cultural activities and lifestyle opportunities it has to offer.
“In 2024 they are again set to be hung prominently in homes and businesses around the district so they can remind residents of what’s coming up, including your event.”
