Public notice: 30 day notice period begins for cessation of water fluoridation.

Please be advised that on October 11, council resolved to cease the fluoridation of water in its treatment plants in Emerald, Blackwater, Tieri and Sapphire.

This notice is to advise all residents that on 17 November 2023, council will decommission all water fluoridation infrastructure and will no longer fluoridate drinking water in any of its communities.
