At the beginning of October, a Second Meeting of Creditors was held, chaired by KPMG the appointed Administrators, to decide the future of the CRC.  The Creditors voted for the Shire of York to take over delivery of services from the CRC and to re-open the facility.

The Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Centre services are available now, by appointment and further CRC services will become available in November.

New fees & charges for CRC services including computer access, room hire and poster printing are being presented to Council for adoption at the October Council Meeting on Thursday 26 October.  The report can be viewed here.

The Shire is recruiting for two new positions to support the community service operations of the Shire, the Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Centre (Lumen WRUC) and to provide customer services to all visitors, residents and students of the Community Resource Centre with a focus on technology support.

Control of  York CRC Inc is still with the KPMG Administrators. Please contact Hendrik De Wet at KPMG on 08 9278 2067 or email at [email protected] regarding any outstanding accounts.
