The Your Region, Your Vision project is on its final push to perfect the community vision documents for the Central Highlands region.
Community members are invited to view the draft visions for the region and 13 communities and have their say on the visions so far.
Did we get it right? What did we miss? Where do you see your community in 2043?
The community said we need to diversify the economy and support existing business and industries.
Tourism activities that will attract visitors to the region is just one of the aspirations in the vision. What’s your big idea?
‘This is the final opportunity to have your say on what the Central Highlands region will be in 2043 and contribute your ideas on what we need to reach that vision,’ said Mayor Hayes.
‘I have said from the start that the visions will be community developed, owned and led – council’s role is to support this process – so the public input is crucial before the draft visions are adopted’ he continued.

All responses to the survey will go into the draw to win a $100 VISA gift card weekly from Monday 23 October to Monday 20 November. Your entry will remain in the draw every week and a new winner will be announced on Friday afternoons on council’s Facebook page.
