Christmas Celebrations

Mareeba Shire Council has been making a list and checking it twice to look at creative ways to contribute to the Christmas cheer across the Shire.

Mareeba Shire Council Mayor Angela Toppin explains, “Council is launching two new and creative initiatives alongside our annual and much-loved Christmas Lights Competition.”

This includes an in-store Christmas-themed augmented reality (AR) competition for visitors and residents, and a $100 cash incentive for businesses to purchase Christmas lights to decorate their shopfront.
