The City of Fremantle is pleased to welcome three new businesses to our beaches, just in time for summer.
The ventures approved as part of the City’s seasonal trading policy are The Neighbourhood Sauna, King Wing and Aqua Flights.
There will be more businesses announced in the coming weeks.
Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge said she’s pleased to see the expansion of the city’s leisure and tourism offerings.
“The operators will bring fresh energy and innovation to some of the city's favourite outdoor locations during the upcoming summer season,” Mayor Fitzhardinge said.
“As a community we embrace small businesses, particularly when they fit with our values of sustainability, wellbeing and enjoying the outdoors. I hope these operators will provide residents and visitors with some special experiences.”
The approved businesses have been granted six-month summer trading permits to operate from November to April at selected locations.
The Neighbourhood Sauna, which has been open during winter at South Beach, will remain in place for the summer months.
King Wing offers lessons in wing foiling and Aqua Flights provides electric hydrofoil experiences. Both are located at Port Beach.
It’s not too late to pitch an idea that fills a gap in the market, with some remaining locations at Leighton and Bathers Beach available.
