Public notice: Fire Rescue Victoria aids in Central Queensland fires

Fire Rescue Victoria crews have arrived in our region over the weekend to aid in firefighting efforts across Central Queensland.

These teams will be based in Springsure and relieve exhausted Queensland Fire and Emergency Services personnel.

Although we received some much-needed rain overnight, firefighting efforts continue. Keep an eye on the disaster dashboard for any updates here.
