Public notice: Wet weather impacts at Lochlees Landfill

Lochlees Landfill has been impacted by wet weather, with the following changes being implemented today, 20 November and tomorrow, 21 November 2023. This includes:

The asbestos area has been temporarily closed. The light vehicle bay has been temporarily closed. A small area has been temporarily opened for large vehicles needing to unload.

Delays are expected with alternative arrangements for dumping some types of waste. Please be patient with the team whilst unloading.
