MANAGER DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Tasmania’s Central Coast Council is seeking an innovative, people–focused leader to manage our Development Support team. 

This newly created position is responsible for the successful management of Council’s Development Support function, which until now has been shared across two separate teams, one being Land Use Planning and the other being Regulatory Services (building, plumbing, environmental health, parking and animal control).

A key objective of this role is successfully merging these two areas into a new team that delivers great customer service and helps facilitate sustainable growth.

We pride ourselves on making it easier for customers to undertake appropriate use and development, administering rules sensibly and fairly, and ensuring that community views are represented in our processes.

Essential:

Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with proven capacity to lead and motivate high performing teams.

Salary and conditions:

Full-time position Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement  Executive Officer Level 3.1-3.4 ($116,494 – $125,258).
